My wife, Bea, and I have been married for 47 years and have three daughters. I started leasing vineyards when I was still in high school in 1946. Along with leasing vineyards, I remember hauling grapes and delivering to Foppiano Winery in my 1937 Chevrolet truck.

In 1955, I bought my first vineyard in Redwood Valley and am still farming in the same area. I take pride in growing quality wine grapes.
