Comments: We are a third generation farming family. Row crops have been our main source of income since 1922. We had grown processing tomatoes, yellow corn, white taco corn, safflower, sugar beets, and a number of other crops until just 2 years ago. Now, we only grow wine grapes, which we have grown for 31 years, and about 350 acres of alfalfa hay. We started producing wine in 1999. In addition, we remodeled our old milk barn where we do wine tastings and special events, such a weddings and celebrations, for those who would like to entertain in a rustic vineyard setting. We believe that petite sirah is the best red grape that we produce in this appellation.
