Comments: Masset Winery is solely owned and operated by Greg and Michaela Masset. Winemaking duties are handled by Greg, who holds a degree in food science; labels are drawn by Michaela, the family artist. A passion for Petite Sirah led us to California in pursuit of grapes until a source for local Yakima Valley fruit could be found. Masset winery has a Yakima Valley Appellation Petite Sirah in the works, but has not release any, as of yet. Our first Lodi Old Vines Petite Sirah sold out quickly, and turned a lot of people onto our favorite grape. Our goal is to produce Petite Sirah as Masset Winery's flagship wine, and to introduce more people to this wonderful variety. Masset Winery also produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, all from the Yakima Valley.
