Comments: Ballentine Vineyards is a small family winery that acknowledges a 100 years of Napa Valley heritage. It is owned and operated by Van and Betty Ballentine, a pair of "winery kids", their lives intertwined with vines and wines. They grew up with "Pets". It was a major planting at the historic Pocai Vineyard. Today, they protect one of the few head trained vineyards remaining in the valley. The 2004 Petite Sirah field blend is from a 40 years old vineyard that is doted with Syrah, Zinfandel and Carignane.
